1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons corn syrup
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 loaf of French bread, thickly sliced

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix and melt sugar, butter, and corn syrup.

Spray a 9x12 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray, and fill with the butter mixture.

Mix egg, milk, and vanilla.

Arrange bread slices in baking dish.

Pour the egg mixture over the bread; using all. Do not miss any area.

The bread will soak up any extra.

Cover dish, and refrigerate over night.

The next morning, uncover and slip into a 350ยบ oven for 30 minutes.

The butter mixture on the bottom will have soaked in, and created a sweet side, so no syrup is needed.
