We watched two pretty good movies this week.
One was
Shutter Island with Leonardo DiCaprio. He has gotten to be a much better actor since he has aged a bit. It was based just after World War 2, and he played a US Marshall. He was assigned to to an island mental facility for violent criminals to investigate a missing patient/prisoner. It is a Martin Scorsese suspense flick, so you can expect it to be a little heavy on the graphic nature.
The other was an action movie called
Green Zone, with Matt Damon. It was directed by Paul Greengrass. An interesting thing about this movie is that it is based in the current Iraq War, and the actors used were veterans. It made many parts seem more legit. Matt Damon played Chief Miller, who was looking for WMDs. He started to suspect a conspiracy, and dug deeper.
