1 cup dry orzo
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
6 ounces frozen pea pods, thawed
4 ounces sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons dry sherry
dash ground ginger
1 cup cooked shrimp
1. Cook orzo 5 to 8 minutes, drain
2. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, stir together broth, soy, sherry, cornstarch, and ginger.
3. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
4. Stir in shrimp, pea pods, water chestnuts, and mushrooms.
5. Cover and heat through.
6. Spoon vegetable mix over orzo.
