Beef Stroganoff Empty
PostSubject: Beef Stroganoff   Beef Stroganoff EmptyFri Dec 03, 2010 9:49 pm

This is traditionally a Russian dish, but seeing I don't think I will have very many Russian recipes, I am not going to start a whole area for them right now. If I get more, I will. I love you

1 pound beef sirloin steak
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
2 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup chopped onion
8 ounces sour cream
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 clove garlic minced
hot cooked egg noodles

1. Slice beef into bite size pieces. In a small mixing bowl, stir together sour cream and flour. Stir in water, bouillon granules, and pepper. Set aside.

2. In a large skillet, cook and stir half of the meat in hot margarine until done. Remove from skillet. Add remaining meat, mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cook and stir until done. Drain off fat. Return all meat and vegetables to skillet.

3. Stir flour mixture into skillet. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook one more minute. Serve over egg noodles.
